More than 1,000 donor-funded scholarships support Fordham students every year–including 188 scholarship funds that have been created during Fordham’s Cura Personalis Campaign.
Fordham’s annual Scholarship Donors and Recipients Reception, held on April 8 at The University Club, continued the University’s cherished tradition of celebrating our generous donors and the achievements of the scholars they support. The event offers scholars a chance to express their gratitude directly and gives donors the opportunity to witness the tangible impact of their contributions.
At the reception, Fordham senior Brooke Gould expressed her gratitude on behalf of all scholarship recipients.
“The academic, athletic, personal, and professional opportunities that Fordham has provided me with have been absolutely invaluable. Initially, I chose Fordham based on my two main criteria at that time: great camaraderie of the rowing team, and the incredible opportunities that are available to students in New York City,” she said. “Both have met and exceeded my every expectation.”
