Dear Members of the Campus Community:
The National Weather Service is predicting 5 to 8 inches of snow, high winds, and hazardous road conditions in the New York City area beginning in the morning tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 13. We will be making the following modifications to our normal operations tomorrow:
Classes and Campuses
No in-person classes will be held: online classes will proceed as planned. Deans and instructors may contact their students with further information about alternative arrangements for classes affected by this announcement.
The Westchester Campus and Calder Center will be closed.
Staff who normally have in-person responsibilities at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center should expect to report to campus or check with their managers.
Campus Dining
Community Dining at Lincoln Center and the Marketplace at Rose Hill will open as scheduled, but other venues may close early dependent upon demand and staff availability (check @ramdining on Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter/X for up-to-the-minute updates on Dining hours). Cosi at Rose Hill will be closed.

University Health Services at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center will operate on their normal schedules: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Rose Hill, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lincoln Center.
Counseling and Psychological Services

Campus Ministry
Mass will be celebrated in Dealy Chapel at Rose Hill at 12:05 p.m.
The Mardi Gras celebrations at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center are cancelled.
Please use caution while walking on campus, and avoid walking near or under large trees. Facilities staff will be on hand to clear snow from campus walkways and roads. To prepare for possible power outages, charge cell phone batteries, gather supplies, and turn your refrigerator and freezer to a colder setting. If you lose power, items that need refrigeration will stay cooler for longer. Local weather forecasts are imprecise, and the storm may be worse than predicted.
As always, members of the University community should take local conditions into account when traveling to or from campus. Faculty, students, and staff should call the following number for the latest campus travel-related information: (800) 280-7669 [(800) 280-SNOW].
In an emergency, please call Fordham Public Safety at (718) 817-2222.
Sincerely,
Robert Fitzer, Associate Vice President
Fordham Department of Public Safety
