Dear Members of the Campus Community:

Here are this week’s five things you need to know about Fordham’s COVID-19 precautions, vaccinations, and University operations.

Please wear a mask in all indoor public spaces at all times. See the COVID-19 Guidelines on the web for detailed information: fordham.edu/fordhamforward:

  • In the last 14 days, 27 members of the University community tested positive for COVID-19, as listed on the University dashboard.
  • Correction: The student COVID-19 vaccination rate is 99.37% of the in-person population; the employee vaccination rate is 98.9% of the in-person population (note that the latter figure is different from the one in last week’s Five Things). The small percentage of non-vaccinated individuals have received official University accommodations.
  • The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is now available for children ages 5 to 11.
  • Influenza (flu) season is upon us. The University strongly recommends that everyone receive the flu vaccine. Students can schedule a vaccination with University Health Services at any time. Human Resources has announced flu vaccine availability next week at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center.
  • The University is making COVID-19 boosters available for all eligible students, faculty, and staff. The vaccine schedule is available on the COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Resources page.  The majority of new COVID-19 cases at Fordham are contracted among students at off-campus, unmasked indoor gatherings. Please use discretion when attending off-campus activities.
