Dear Members of the Campus Community:

Here are this week’s five things you need to know about Fordham’s COVID-19 precautions, vaccinations, and University operations.

Please wear a mask in all indoor public spaces at all times. See the COVID-19 Guidelines on the web for detailed information: fordham.edu/fordhamforward:

  • In the last 14 days, 47 members of the University community tested positive for COVID-19, as listed on the University dashboard (this is approximately a 0.26% infection rate of the on-campus population: roughly one-tenth of the New York City infection rate of 2.42%).
  • People who completed all of the recommended doses of a World Health Organization (WHO) approved COVID-19 vaccine not approved or authorized by FDA, or people who completed a series composed of any combination of FDA-approved, FDA-authorized, or WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines, are now eligible to receive a single booster dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after completing their primary series.
  • The University is making COVID-19 boosters available for all eligible students, faculty, and staff. The vaccine schedule is available on the COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Resources page. The University strongly recommends both COVID-19 boosters and Flu vaccines.
  • You must upload your negative test results via VitalCheck regardless of if you are tested on or off campus, or you will not be allowed on campus on or after December 12, 2021. (Instructions for accessing test results can be found here.)
  • The link to upload your negative test is available on the daily VitalCheck attestation page below the section where you reply “No” or “Yes.”
