Jacqueline Nolan-Haley, LAW, professor of law, was announced as the American Bar Association’s 2020 recipient of the Section of Dispute’s Award for Outstanding Scholarly Work. The award will be formally presented on April 25, at the Dispute Resolution Section Spring Conference in New Orleans.

Robert J. Penella, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, emeritus professor of classics, published a new book Libanius, Ten Mythological and Historical Declamations (Cambridge University Press, 2020). His article “Declamation and Extempore Speech as Hallmarks of the Second Sophistic” recently appeared in the Swedish journal Eranos, and he recently contributed a book review to the German electronic journal sehepunkte.
Virginia Roach, Ed.D., GSE, dean, and Christina M. Greer, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, associate professor of political science, will be included in Diverse: Issues In Higher Education’s 2020 class of leading women in higher education, and will be profiled in the March 19 issue.
