Lunar New Year Celebration 2022

Join the Asian American and Pacific Islander Alumni at Fordham (AAF) Affinity Chapter as we gather to celebrate 2022 and the Lunar New Year of the Tiger.

We will meet in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood to watch “Super Saturday” Lion Dance parades and support local small businesses still recovering from the pandemic. You are welcome to bring small bills placed in red envelopes to give to the Lions, too.

Meeting Location
We will meet/eat at the Eatery (pay on your own, bring cash) and then go watch the lion dance parades. Enter Eatery and meet at the opposite end by the big screen. Please wear Fordham-branded clothing if possible so we can identify you.

We may also visit some of the local family associations and local businesses unique to Chinatown.

Note: There will be road closures, so leave extra time if you are driving.
