IPED Event: Funding a More Inclusive and Sustainable World

Julie Gafney, Ph.D., is the assistant vice president for strategic mission initiatives and executive director of the Center for Community Engaged Learning. Recently, she secured a $50 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to go toward efforts to uplift communities disproportionately affected by climate change and pollution. Previously, Gafney has worked with the New York State Executive Chamber and The City University of New York
