Europe’s last pogrom—in Kielce, Poland, in 1946 —poisoned Polish-Jewish relationships for generations. A Catholic Pole embarks on a decade long journey to heal the wounds and bridge the divide. Starting alone, he confronts the deepest prejudices of his fellow citizens and strives to reconnect Kielce with the outside Jewish community.
