Gilded Age-Themed Fifth Avenue Walking Tour for Young Alumni

Join us to explore the remaining mansions of Gilded Age New York! See where the country’s wealthiest families put down their brief roots before the rise of the apartment building and the fall of the grand home. Led by alumnus and founder of Landmarks of New York, Thomas Silk FCRH ’12, we will see the social clubs, museums, and consulates that made the Upper East Side. The tour will begin at Grand Army Plaza and end at 96th Street. The approximate distance is 2.5 miles. Bring a sense of curiosity and walking shoes for a dive into New York City’s illustrious past.
