Alumni Chapter of Miami: Miami River Boat Tour with NYU

Please join the Fordham Alumni Chapter of Miami and the NYU Alumni Club of Miami for an entertaining and relaxing ride on the river with HistoryMiami Museum’s resident historian, Paul George, Ph.D. Discover the story of the Miami River from the late 19th century and hear tales of the area’s earliest known inhabitants, the Tequesta, all while cruising through Miami’s downtown. See and learn about hidden neighborhoods and little-known sites.

For over three decades, Paul George, Ph.D., has toured his way to local, national, and international acclaim with his continuing series of historic tours. As a South Florida native, author, and former Miami Dade College professor, George has gained fame for his uncanny ability to recall the most impressive details about the people and places that make South Florida so unique.

This event costs $42.50 per person. Light snacks and drinks will be available for purchase from Island Queen staff while on board.
