Fairfax, Va. – The Fordham softball team finally dodged the rain and played its first game of this year’s Atlantic 10 Championship, against Saint Louis in the quarterfinals, and began its fourth straight title defense with a 10-2 six-inning run-rule victory over the Billikens. With the win, the Rams improve to 43-14 on the year, the second-highest win total in the program’s history, and will play the winner of Massachusetts and Saint Joseph’s on Saturday at 1 p.m.
