Feel like a blockhead about blockchain? Think you can use bitcoins at the laundromat? Let us demystify this technology and its everyday implications for all of us.

Fordham alumni, family, and friends are cordially invited to a networking reception and discussion lead by Fordham professor and blockchain expert Paul Johnson. Professor Johnson is also the co-founder of the Jesuit Token, a blockchain-based reward system reward system used to incentivize community service. He will not only cover the basics of blockchain technology—which is best known as the architecture that supports bit coin—but also discuss how it is going to revolutionize a multitude of industries, from the banking system to music licensing to medical records.

This event costs $20 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

Fordham students may attend for free.
