Speaker: McGregor Smyth, Executive Director, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest

This is part of the Feerick Center for Social Justice “Leaders” series which presents lunchtime speakers of distinction on a variety of social justice topics.

On Tuesday, January 30 at 12:30 PM in Room 4-01, Fordham Law School, McGregor Smyth, the Executive Director of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, will be speaking about healthcare rights, particularly for New Yorkers with low incomes and individuals with mental health conditions.

He will also speak about how advocacy in this field may have changed after the presidential election.

In addition, he will share some of the opportunities for pro bono and other ways lawyers and law students can get involved with the Health Justice Program and related efforts.
