Inaugural Presentation of the Eloquentia perfecta Award to Jeannie Gaffigan
Actress, philanthropist, and comedic force Jeannie Gaffigan will accept the inaugural Lincoln Center Eloquentia perfecta Award, granted to a professional whose work in communications or the performance arts conveys truth about the human experience. Gaffigan is known for the comedy empire she created with her husband, Jim Gaffigan.

The daylong conference will bring together media professionals from broadcasting, publishing, and the performing arts. Events include breakout panel sessions and networking opportunities.

Keynote | 10 a.m.

“Dealing With Religion and Faith in Secular Media,” by
Bill Baker, Ph.D.
Bill Baker, president emeritus of WNET-Thirteen and director of Fordham’s Bernard L. Schwartz Center for Media, Public Policy, and Education, will provide insight into the subject of faith and religion in today’s media world. He’ll also discuss the making of his documentary, Sacred, and show clips from the film.
