​2024 Thalassa Benefit for the Orthodox Christian Studies Center

Join us for a night of celebration and the presentation of two distinguished awards.

We will be bestowing the Father John Long, S.J., Award for undergraduate achievement in the Orthodox Christian studies minor and/or potential for postgraduate studies in the field and the Stella Moundas Award for Orthodox Christian Service, presented to a senior who has shown deep commitment to serving others during his or her undergraduate career.

The awards will be presented by Orthodox Christian Studies Center co-chairs George E. Demacopoulos, professor of historical theology and the Father John Meyendorff/Patterson Family Chair of Orthodox Christian Studies; and Aristotle Papanikolaou, professor of theology and the Archbishop Demetrios Chair in Orthodox Theology and Culture.
