Dear Members of the Campus Community:
Here are this week’s five things you need to know about Fordham’s COVID-19 precautions, vaccinations, and University operations.

- In the last 14 days, 31 members of the University community tested positive for COVID-19, as listed on the University dashboard.
- More than 98% of faculty, students, and staff on campus are fully vaccinated. That number includes a small number of students who are fully remote, but whose information has not yet been verified in the database: the University expects the final percentage of unvaccinated individuals with approved exemptions to be below 1%.
- The University requires all members of the campus community to wear masks while indoors: the only exceptions are for individuals alone in a room, or in their residence hall apartment, or bedroom.
- Disregarding masking requirements is a violation of University policy and the Code of Conduct. Students, faculty, and staff who violate masking requirements may face sanctions by the University.
- All fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff who are asymptomatic and identified as possibly having been exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual through University Contact Tracing should report for testing within 3 to 5 days. These individuals must remain masked at all times while on campus, indoors and outside, must monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days, and cannot remove masks (including outdoors) until in receipt of a negative COVID-19 test. This testing is provided at no charge to anyone believed to be exposed on campus. Complete information on contact tracing and testing for faculty, staff, and students can be found here.
