We hope you will join us for “Advancing Local Leadership in Today’s Global Refugee Crisis.” Catholic Relief Services and IPED are hosting this panel discussion to coincide with the opening of the United Nations General Assembly. More than 65 million people are displaced in the world today, and on average, refugees spend about 17 years in exile.

Panelists include leaders from governments and civil society organizations that are partnering with Catholic Relief Services to address today’s global refugee crisis. They will speak from their experience on the ground in an effort to empower local leaders to meet the needs of their refugee communities.
