DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of celebration and the presentation of two distinguished awards. \nWe will be bestowing the Father John Long\, S.J.\, Award for undergraduate achievement in the Orthodox Christian studies minor and/or potential for postgraduate studies in the field and the Stella Moundas Award for Orthodox Christian Service\, presented to a senior who has shown deep commitment to serving others during his or her undergraduate career. \nThe awards will be presented by Orthodox Christian Studies Center co-chairs George E. Demacopoulos\, professor of historical theology and the Father John Meyendorff/Patterson Family Chair of Orthodox Christian Studies; and Aristotle Papanikolaou\, professor of theology and the Archbishop Demetrios Chair in Orthodox Theology and Culture. \nEnjoy wine\, cocktails\, and a tasting menu from Thalassa’s offerings of Greek and Mediterranean dishes.
