DESCRIPTION:Join the Alumni Chapter of Long Island for a cider tasting at Riverhead Cider House! Riverhead Cider House specializes in New York-grown apples and local products\, all native to Long Island. They offer cider\, hard cider\, beer\, and wine that has all been made on Long Island. They also have a farm-fresh\, locally sourced food cafe with prices averaging $12 to $15 per meal. \nThis event costs $25 per person for the tasting only\, or $50 per person for the tasting and bus transportation to the venue. \nBus Pickup Locations \nNassau County\, 9:30 a.m.\n17 E. Jericho Turnpike in Mineola (CVS Parking Lot)\nIf you are coming from Manhattan\, the Mineola train is a 27-minute ride from Penn Station and Mineola station is a six-minute drive to this pickup location. \nSuffolk County\, 10 a.m.\n1730 Veterans Memorial Highway in Islandia \nRaffle! Each attendee is automatically entered to win the grand prize of a mountain bike or the second prize of a handmade Fordham hat and scarf set. \nRSVP by Thursday\, November 15\, 2018.
