SUMMARY:Fordham Theatre MainStage 2025-26: Kentucky
DESCRIPTION:Come see Kentucky\, opening on Thursday\, November 14 at Pope Auditorium at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus! \nLeah Nanako Winkler’s wry\, refreshing\, and playfully theatrical Kentucky is the second production of the MainStage 2025-26 season. Kentucky is a modern–day millennial version of The Odyssey\, in which Hiro\, a self-made woman “making it” in New York but estranged from her dysfunctional family in Kentucky\, attempts to thwart her born-again Christian sister from marrying at the impossibly young age of 22. Directed by Kat Yen\, this is a poignant\, uproarious\, coming–of–age story about the radically different paths one must take to recover and heal from trauma. \nShow performances include: \nThursday\, November 14: 8 p.m.\nFriday\, November 15: 8 p.m.\nSaturday\, November 16: 8 p.m.\nThursday\, November 21: 8 p.m.\nFriday\, November 22: 8 p.m.\nSaturday\, November 23: 2 p.m. (Following the 2 p.m. show\, the director\, cast\, and crew will host a talkback for the audience)\nSaturday\, November 23: 8 p.m. \nTo reach Fordham Theatre Box Office\, email us at fclcboxoffice@gmail.com or call 212.636.6340.

SUMMARY:Fordham Theatre Presents Dance Nation
DESCRIPTION:Fordham Theatre presents Dance Nation by Clare Barron\, directed by Sanaz Gahar and choreographed by Sylvie Tamar. \nSomewhere in America\, an army of pre-teen competitive dancers plots to take over the world. And if their new routine is good enough\, they’ll claw their way to the top at the Boogie Down Grand Prix in Tampa Bay. But in Clare Barron’s raucous pageant of ambition and ferocity\, these young dancers have more than choreography on their minds because every plié and jeté is a step toward finding themselves\, and a fight to unleash their power. \nPerformances \n\nThursday\, October 6\nFriday\, October 7\nSaturday\, October 8\nWednesday\, October 12\nThursday\, October 13\nFriday\, October 14\nSaturday\, October 15\n\nTicketing \nRSVP at fclcboxoffice@gmail.com\, or purchase tickets with cash at the door: \n\nGeneral Admission: $15\nFaculty/Staff/Alumni: $10\nStudents: $5\n\nContent Advisory\n \nDance Nation depicts discussions of suicide\, menstruation\, masturbation\, sex\, sexual violence\, dissociation\, and cancer. The production also depicts staging of simulated masturbation\, self-harm\, non-consensual touch (of a minor)\, and physical injury.

SUMMARY:Mr. Burns\, a post-electric play
DESCRIPTION:What happens when a society must rebuild itself after an environmental disaster and social collapse? What happens over 75 years when surviving “tribes” inject meaning into their lives by recovering from memory the TV series that bound them together before the Fall? This musical tragi-comedy asks: When communities are under assault from the forces of darkness\, will their performances unite them?
