The course covers important information that professionals who are mandated to report suspected child abuse and neglect need to know\, including: \n\nDefinitions of abuse and neglect\nEmotional indicators of abuse and neglect\nHow to report suspected cases\nThe family court system and its relationship to investigations of abuse and neglect\nBehavioral indicators of abuse and neglect\nFamily dynamics in abusing and neglecting families\nThe child protective services system investigation\n\nYOU MUST PRE-REGISTER BY COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM BELOW. PLEASE MAIL REGISTRATION FORM AND CHECK TO: Children FIRST\, Fordham University\, 400 Westchester Avenue\, Room G07\, West Harrison\, NY 10604. Registration is limited to 45 people.
