NEW YORK—Fordham will honor legendary broadcaster Charles Osgood (FCRH ’54) and business executive and humanitarian Angelo R. Mozilo (CBA ’60) during the 2005 Fordham Founder’s Award Dinner on Monday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf=Astoria. Refreshments will be provided for the media.

Charles Osgood, a longtime fixture in television and radio, and the author of six books, is a member of the broadcasters Hall of Fame. Angelo Mozilo is the co-founder and executive of Countrywide Financial Corporation, which is one of the nation’s leading lenders to Hispanics, African-Americans, Asians and underserved households and communities. He is the recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Award and the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

The Founder’s Award recognizes individuals whose personal and professional lives reflect the highest aspirations of the University’s defining traditions, as an institution dedicated to wisdom and learning in the service of others. The gala proceeds will benefit the Fordham University Founder’s Endowed Scholarship Fund.
