Classes and Events Cancelled for September 11, 2001

Due to the extraordinary events occuring in New York City, the University has cancelled all day and evening classes as well as all events scheduled for today. Resident students are encouraged to remain in their residence halls and to try to contact their family. Facilities are being prepared for commuting students in the event that an overnight stay is necessary. Rose Hill commuting students should report to the McGinley Center and Lincoln Center commuting students should report to McMahon 109 for information. Administrative offices of the University will currently remain open. Faculty and staff are encouraged to wait until later in the day before trying to return home due to the transportation shut down. Our prayers are with the victims of these terrible events. The University administration will periodically update students and staff via broadcast messaging. Parents and friends of the University may refer to this website for periodic updates.
