George Demacopoulos, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of theology and the Fr. John Meyendorff & Patterson Family Chair of Orthodox Christian Studies, was elected president of the Byzantine Studies Association of North America.  

Susanne Hafner,  Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, assistant professor of German, published Familie und Comic: Kritische Perspektiven auf soziale Mikrostrukturen in grafischen Narrationen (De Gruyter, 2023) on Oct. 24. 

Aristotle Papanikolaou, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of theology and the Archbishop Demetrios Chair in Orthodox Theology and Culture, had his book The Mystical as Political: Democracy and Non-Radical Orthodoxy (Mistično kao političko), which was originally published by University of Notre Dame Press in October 2012, translated into Croatian and distributed in both Croatia and Serbia.  

Francis Petit, Ed.D, GABELLI SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, virtually presented “Developing the International Executive of the Future” on Nov. 29 at the International XPLORATION Event at  XIM University, the Jesuit University of Bhubaneswar, India.

Larry Welborn, Ph.D., ARTS AND SCIENCES, professor of theology, has published “Second Corinthians: Introduction, Notes, and Sidebars” in the new Harper Collins / SBL Study Bible (Harper Collins, 2023.)
