Fordham University Law School’s fifth annual domestic violence conference will look at how violence affects immigrant women as well as gay and lesbian partners, and it will explore the law regarding domestic violence and HIV on Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23 from 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the McNally Amphitheatre, Fordham University Law School, 140 W. 62nd St., Manhattan. In addition, attorneys and judges will compare mainstream legal responses to domestic violence with the real needs of diverse communities, and discuss how barriers in communities can be overcome.
