SUMMARY:2025 Men’s Water Polo NCAA Tournament Pregame Tailgate
DESCRIPTION:It’s a great time to be a Ram! Alumni\, friends\, and family are invited to join the Office of Alumni Relations\, the Maroon Club\, and the Alumni Chapter of Northern California for a tailgate prior to the first-round Friday afternoon match. Our group will be in the Varsity Parking Lot\, near the main entrance. Look for the Fordham banner and folks in Fordham gear! Sandwiches will be provided. \nPlease email Mark Di Giorgio\, GABELLI ’87\, ’93 at markadigiorgio@att.net to RSVP.  Contact Mark with any questions at 415-876-2735. \nFollowing the gathering\, the match begins at 2 p.m against San Jose State. \nPlease note: tournament tickets must be purchased separately. Visit Stanford’s NCAA Men’s Water Polo Championship site to purchase tickets and learn more. Wear your best maroon gear and cheer on the men’s water polo team! \nThe tournament will take place at the Avery Aquatic Center and the schedule is as follows: \nFriday\, December 5\n12 p.m. – Game 1: (#1) Southern California vs. CUI\n2 p.m. – Game 2: (#4) Fordham vs. San Jose State\n4 p.m. – Game 3: (#2) UCLA vs. Princeton\n6 p.m. – Game 4: (#3) Stanford vs. UC Davis \nSaturday\, December 6\n2 p.m. – Semifinal #1: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2\n4 p.m. – Semifinal #2: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4 \nSunday\, December 7\n3 p.m. – Championship Game \nIf Fordham advances\, we will plan to gather at The Patio @ Rudy’s  two and a half hours before the weekend matches.

DESCRIPTION:Every year\, our Holiday Toy Drive reminds us of the heart of Fordham\, where we show up for our neighbors\, celebrate community\, and ensure that Bronx families experience the joy and dignity of the season. This December\, we’re excited to invite students\, faculty\, staff\, alumni\, and partners to participate in one of our most cherished traditions. \nThis year’s giveaway is especially important. With families across our surrounding neighborhoods still recovering from multiple fires and displacement\, we are committed to making sure every child who walks through our doors feels seen\, supported\, and celebrated. \nThere are several opportunities for engagement: \n\nDonate a gift from now through Tuesday\, Dec. 16. The toys should be unwrapped and geared toward ages ranging from newborn to 17. Drop-off locations include: Lowenstein lobby\, Gabelli School of Business lobby and CCEL office (Room 140 at 140 W. 62nd St.)\, McShane Campus Center entrance and CCEL office (Room 215)\, and the Public Safety office at Rose Hill.\nSponsor an age group or station at the giveaway event with your department.\nVolunteer to wrap presents Tuesday\, Dec. 16\, 3 to 8 p.m. or Wednesday\, Dec. 17\, noon to 5 p.m. at the McShane Student Center.\nVolunteer at the giveaway event Thursday\, Dec. 18\, 3 to 8 p.m. at the McShane Student Center.\n\nClick register to sign up and learn more.
