No matter what stage you are at in your career\, empowering yourself with the knowledge to assist you in building a secure retirement makes it easier to look forward to the future. \nYou are cordially invited to attend “Imagining Tomorrow\,” a retirement planning event hosted by the Office of Human Resources Management\, in consultation with the Retirement Plan Committee\, on Tuesday\, January 29\, 2019\, at Lincoln Center. The program marks the beginning of our educational program\, Fordham Benefits University\, and will be offered to Fordham University employees and guests. This inaugural event will include representatives from the Social Security Administration\, UnitedHealthcare\, Fidelity Investments®\, TIAA\, and Prudential Retirement. This seminar will help you: \n• Decide when you may be able to retire\n• Estimate how long your money may last\n• Prepare for challenges you might face in retirement \nLifetime Income: Help Secure Your Retirement\, presented by TIAA\n2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. \nA presentation on the challenges and risks people face as they plan for retirement\, and the importance of generating a paycheck for life. SUMMARY:Aetna Student Health Insurance Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Are you a GSAS student who is currently enrolled in the Aetna insurance plan available for Fordham University students? Are you considering enrolling in the future? Do you have questions about your plan details\, but are struggling to decipher the language outlining your coverage? \nIf you answered “yes” to any of the above questions\, please attend an information session on the Aetna student insurance plan\, led by Maritza Rivera-Garcia\, Fordham’s health insurance compliance administrator. In this session\, Rivera-Garcia will provide an overview of the Aetna plan while responding to common questions from students about plan details. Topics will include: \n• an explanation of the plan deductible and services covered before and after the deductible is met;\n• information regarding prescription drug coverage;\n• coverage for a range of services\, including preventive care\, visits to primary care physicians\, visits to specialists\, and medical tests;\n• coverage for mental health services. \nA Q&A session for students to receive additional clarification on plan details will accompany the presentation. International students with questions about the insurance plan\, particularly if they have relocated to the U.S. from nations without a similar insurance system\, may find the session especially helpful. Students weighing the Aetna plan with other insurance options may also benefit from learning more about plan costs and benefits.
