SUMMARY:Alumni Chapter of Westchester Holiday Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Alumni Chapter of Westchester is having its annual toy drive from November 22 to December 17! Collect toys\, gift cards\, and clothing for the Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center in Yonkers. There are drop-off locations at various businesses in Westchester associated with Fordham alumni. \nElizabeth Seton Children’s Center is the largest residential care center in the U.S. for children with severe medical complexity. The children’s center offers vital medical\, educational\, and rehabilitative services to 169 children so they can lead their fullest lives. By also providing social\, recreational\, and spiritual programs\, the children’s center gives the children and their families a place to call home—and the peace of mind of true support 24 hours a day. The majority of the children and their families are economically disadvantaged\, and 99% qualify for Medicaid assistance. \nPlease view the flyer to find a drop-off location near you. \nHave a safe and happy holiday season!

SUMMARY:Fordham Alumni Chapter of Westchester: 2020 Holiday Toy Drive
DESCRIPTION:We are having our annual toy drive benefiting Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center\, now through December 18! The center has been closed to visitors since March due to COVID-19\, so let’s try to make their holiday a happy one. \nElizabeth Seton Children’s Center is the largest residential care center in the U.S. for children with severe medical complexity\, and a national leader in caring for this unique population. Just as we cherish our precious children\, we are equally devoted to our families\, who are our partners in care. The majority of our children and their families are economically disadvantaged\, and 99% qualify for Medicaid assistance. \nThis year\, instead of drop boxes for your donations\, we are doing the toy drive virtually. Have a safe and happy holiday season!
