SUMMARY:2024 Marymount Day of Service
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of service at the Marymount Convent and volunteer for one of three activities: planting in the Native Garden\, polishing statues throughout the grounds\, or painting/art projects with the sisters on the porch. Activities will follow lunch\, and we’ll end the day with a social hour of ice cream\, music\, and games. \nAdvance registration is required so we can provide an accurate headcount and inform you if any additional supplies or tools are needed. \nFamily and friends are welcome. \n11 a.m. Sign-In\n11:30 a.m. Mass in the chapel\n12 p.m. Lunch\n12:45 p.m. Service projects begin: Planting; Polishing\, Painting\n2:30 p.m. Ice cream and games with the sisters\n4 p.m. Day concludes/farewell \nIf it rains\, this event will take place on Saturday\, September 28. \nFor questions about this event\, please contact Paula Mahayosnand\, president of the Marymount College Alumnae Board of Fordham University\, at mahastein2@yahoo.com. \nIf you have any questions about the registration process\, please contact Rachel Kartiganer at rkartiganer@fordham.edu.

DESCRIPTION:The Alumni Chapter of Staten Island invites you to join in the Staten Island tradition of participating in the annual Tunnel to Towers (T2T) Foundation 5K Run and Walk. \nAlumni who want to run or walk in the race should visit the T2T Foundation website to register as an individual on the Staten Island Fordham Alumni Team. \nAlumni who prefer to volunteer to assist the T2T staff can sign up to do so online. There is a field on the form for volunteers to state any preferences or physical limitations they may have. The T2T Foundation will make volunteer assignments at the beginning of September.
