DESCRIPTION:Protest movements are emerging with a force not seen in decades across the country and on campuses\, engaging young people in particular. But is this wave of social activism having any impact? Is it possible to make a change? What can we learn from past social protest movements? What role does faith play in successful movements? And what can Ignatian spirituality and the history of Jesuit activism teach us about how to make change happen? \nThis event will feature a panel discussion among practitioners and experts in social protest activism and an open conversation with the audience.

DESCRIPTION:What does solidarity mean to you? \nYou are invited to showcase Ignatian spirituality\, our Jesuit values\, the Fordham mission\, social justice\, and more at the Ignatian Week Creative Arts Festival. \nUse your Ignatian imagination to show the answer to this question in any creative way you want. Any genre can be used: short film (first-person narratives\, vlogs\, infographic videos\, docudramas\, shorts\, comedies\, etc.)\, dance\, visual art\, photography\, theatrical performance\, spoken word\, song\, and more. \nAny performance should be no more than five minutes in length ( there is no minimum length). If you choose film or another format that requires us to have the content prior to the festival\, please submit a link to your piece on the Google Form.
