DESCRIPTION:“Run to daylight” is a football expression born on Rose Hill by none other than Vincent Thomas Lombardi. \nOn Saturday\, October 28\, at Rose Hill’s newly christened Joe Moglia Stadium\, Fordham looks to follow Lombardi’s eternal mantra while facing off against the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders. More an upheaval of nature than mere sporting event\, this annual Jesuit showdown is nicknamed the Iron Major Cup in honor of the Iron Major\, Frank Cavanaugh. Aside from bragging rights and possession of the Ram-Crusader Cup\, a clear path toward Patriot League supremacy and an automatic spot into the FCS playoffs are also at play.
