DESCRIPTION:The Swanstrom-Baerwald Award Ceremony honors Fordham Alumni who have shown excellence in the service of faith through the promotion of international peace and development. This year’s Swanstrom-Baerwald Award Ceremony will honor Bridget Bucardo Rivera\, a 2009 graduate of Fordham’s International Political Economy and Development (IPED) program. She is currently a senior technical advisor for capacity strengthening for Catholic Relief Services (CRS)\, where she provides support to country programs to live out CRS’s commitment to partnership and local leadership through the effective strengthening of local partners\, including faith-based organizations\, civil society organizations\, and government.

DESCRIPTION:The Fordham alumni chapters of Tampa and Sarasota\, as well as Joseph M. McShane\, S.J.\, president of Fordham University\, cordially invite you to an afternoon of brunch and baseball to cheer on the Bronx Bombers as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates! We hope you will join us in wishing Father McShane a fond farewell as he prepares to step down as president at the end of the academic year. \nThis event costs $105 per person and includes a deluxe brunch buffet\, beer\, wine\, mimosas\, bloody Marys\, and a Bullpen Club Rooftop Deck game ticket (an $80 value). Brunch will be held in the Pavilion. The Bullpen Club Rooftop Deck is located on the first base side of the field and is an all-inclusive food and beverage area. \nPlease note: Tickets will be distributed electronically. Detailed instructions for accessing and downloading tickets will be emailed closer to the event. \nSpace is limited\, and this event will sell out. Registrations will be honored on a first-come\, first-served basis.

DESCRIPTION:The Gabelli School of Business has established a one-of-a-kind center dedicated to educating students\, supporting alumni\, and partnering with industry leaders across the global credit markets. The center was created by generous Centennial Campaign gifts from Robert O’Shea\, GABELLI ’87\, and Michele O’Shea\, FCRH ’88\, along with Michael Gatto\, adjunct professor at Gabelli. Please join us as we celebrate the launch of the center that will be focused on bridging the gap between academia and financial markets. \nPlease note: Attendees must show a photo ID and proof that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks are required to be worn upon arrival and in all areas of the University Club\, with the exception of the Fordham event space.
