DESCRIPTION:The Marymount Alumnae Board\, administrators\, members of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (R.S.H.M.) and their families\, and Fordham University’s Office of Alumni Relations invite you to a gathering celebrating Marymount College’s founding in 1907 by Mother Marie Joseph Butler. \nAs we have done for the past several years\, the Marymount Alumnae Board will present the annual Mother Butler Award Leadership Award in recognition of the work of the R.S.H.M. This year’s awardee will be announced shortly. \nThis event costs $40 per person. We also ask that you please bring an unwrapped child’s toy or item of clothing as a gift to support the R.S.H.M. LIFE Center in Sleepy Hollow. As in years past\, your generous gifts make a world of difference during the Christmas season. \nThere will be a Ram Van available to transport guests between the parking garage and Butler Commons. Times available between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. \nMake a day of it and join us before and after the luncheon for two events in the University Church. Mass will be held before the event begins\, at 11 a.m. After the event\, join us for the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols in the University Church at 4:30 p.m. Early arrival is highly recommended as seats fill up quickly.

DESCRIPTION:The Ivy Ball Christmas Charity Dinner is the largest annual charity dinner for American colleges and universities in Taiwan. The ball is hosted by Ivy League schools and other official guest schools every year. Fordham University has been invited as an official guest school for the 2018 Ivy Ball. \nA cocktail party and full-course dinner starts at 6 p.m. The after-party starts at 10 p.m. at the rooftop bar of the Taipei Marriott Hotel. The admission fee for the charity dinner is NT$3\,500; only 36 seats are available\, so advance reservation and payment are required. The admission fee for the after-party is NT$1\,000; there is no guest limit for the after-party—all are welcome! \nPlease note: This is a black-tie event.
