SUMMARY:Responsible Business Center's Fireside Chat and Networking Reception
DESCRIPTION:The Responsible Business Center at the Gabelli School of Business is thrilled to kick off the new year with a fireside chat and networking reception presented by the Emerging Leaders Council. The event is free and open to anyone in the Fordham alumni community who is interested in connecting with fellow alumni and learning more about responsible business and sustainability issues. \nAbout the Mission of Responsible Business Center & Emerging Leaders Council: \nBased at the Gabelli School of Business\, the Responsible Business Center is a platform for interdisciplinary engagement in sustainability seeking to inspire\, inform\, and activate existing and emerging business leaders to collaboratively foster a more just and sustainable business ecosystem that serves all people and sustain our planet. \nThe Emerging Leaders Council seeks to harness the good work of Fordham’s alumni network to encourage positive and responsible change in business. Fordham alumni go on to shape the future of business in an incredibly impactful way on a global scale. The purpose of this community is to centralize that impact under a common goal: creating a shift towards business for good. Together\, this community can create long-term value for Fordham as well as corporations and individuals around the world. Promoting the Jesuit idea of being “men and women for others” doesn’t stop at graduation\, and it is our responsibility as Fordham’s Emerging Leaders to ensure that this idea is alive and well from the classroom to the boardroom.
