DESCRIPTION:Join this workshop hosted in collaboration with the Office of Career Services’ “Rams Helping Rams” Class of 2020 initiative. During the workshop\, Jeff Levy\, FCLC ’71\, will walk through important foundations\, from mindset preparedness before you start your own business to exploring tactical elements\, such as financing to business planning. \nLevy is a small-business advocate with an emphasis on franchising. His experience includes participation in new technology companies\, buyout leverage and management\, raising investment capital\, and providing coaching to hundreds of startup ventures. He has coached more than 900 individuals\, including more than 320 who have become franchisees\, and he co-authored the book Making the Jump into Small Business Ownership.
