DESCRIPTION:The Center for Community Engaged Learning\, together with Fordham’s Laudato Si’ Sustainability Council\, will convene community stakeholders\, climate and environmental activists\, students\, and faculty in a half-day gathering to discuss the collective power of communities in taking a just\, transformative approach to climate action. \nThe summit will feature a panel and a keynote speaker alongside an action fair to connect summit participants with organizations leading environmental and climate justice work. All participants will leave with a guiding vision and tangible next steps to support this crucial work. \nAll are welcome! Please consider inviting others to take part in these conversations.
