The Death of Aztec Tenochtitlan, the Life of Mexico City

The Fordham Undergraduate Research Journal is proud to present:
Dr. Barbara E. Mundy, Fordham University’s Chair of Art History and graduate of Yale, discussing her research and work on “the Death of Aztec Tenochtitlan, the Life of Mexico City.” Dr. Mundy argues the the city of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec empire, survived for many decades after it was allegedly destroyed by Hernando Cortés, a Spanish conquistador, in the early 1500s.
