The Bollandist Society is a Jesuit research institute based in Brussels and dedicated since 1607 to the critical study of the lives of the saints and their cults. One of the world’s oldest institutes, it publishes Analecta Bollandiana, the leading journal on hagiography, as well as two series of books and several online databases.

With the commendation of Arturo Sosa, S.J., the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Irini de Saint Sernin will give a presentation on the current work of the Bollandist Society.

Saint Sernin will also discuss a new fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation for a researcher in Medieval history, Latin philology or Byzantine studies.

The presentation is sponsored by the Campion Institute. Light refreshments will be served.
