2023 Thalassa Cocktail Reception and Benefit

Join us for a night of celebration and the presentation of two distinguished awards.

The Fr. John Long, S.J., Award for undergraduate achievement in the Orthodox Christian studies minor and/or potential for postgraduate studies in the field and the Stella Moundas Award for Orthodox Christian Service, presented to a senior who has shown deep commitment to serving others during their undergraduate career.

The awards will be presented by Orthodox Christian Studies Center co-chairs George E. Demacopoulos, professor of historical theology; Father John Meyendorff, Patterson Family Chair of Orthodox Christian Studies; Aristotle Papanikolaou, professor of theology; and Archbishop Demetrios, chair in Orthodox Theology and Culture.
