Cancelled: 2019 Hong Kong Regional Reception

Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of Fordham,

We deeply regret to announce that we have cancelled the Hong Kong Regional Reception scheduled for Thursday, November 21, at the American Club, due to the increasing intensity of protests and police enforcement in Hong Kong.

Given the escalation of events and violence at Hong Kong campuses and across the city, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the safety of our guests nor of University personnel. We hope that the political situation in Hong Kong will be resolved peacefully and soon. We look forward to our next visit to Hong Kong.
