To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Fordham’s Bronx African American History Project, trumpeter and flugelhorn player Jimmy Owens has composed a new piece called “The Bronx Suite.” Owens is a world-renowned musician who has worked with artists who don’t require a last name: Duke, Dizzie, and Miles, to name a few.
