Fordham University mourns the death of Father Arthur A. Clarke, S.J. who died on Sunday, August 2, at Murray-Weigel Hall, in the Bronx. He was 92.

Father Clarke was born on June 4, 1917, and entered the Society of Jesus at St. Andrew-on-Hudson, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on September 7, 1934. He served as the first Dean of the College at Lincoln Center, which was then known then as the “Liberal Arts College.”
